  • Provide 2 reasons/examples of why you transpose. 

    Pieces can be much easier to play when in a different key—depending on the instrument, finger positioning can be radically different. Transposing can also be a relief for a vocalist. Depending on the key of a piece, some notes are much easier to sing in a certain key than another... no vocal damage here!
